Being a member of the DoDEA Guam School Board provides a wonderful opportunity to affect the education of the students enrolled in our schools. Many well qualified applicants would like to serve their community in this way. At the bottom of this letter is a School Board Nomination Form and job description for you to fill out (if interested) and returned to the school or district superintendent’s office. The deadline for turning in the application is Thursday, October 29, 2009. This is a special election six-months in duration to fill the position of a member who had to PCS. A ballot will be formulated from the list of interested parents who wish to serve on the school board.
Elections will be held during school conferences scheduled the week of November 16. The election results will be announced at the December School Board Meeting that will be held December 15 at 6:00p.m.
